Mark Newcomer

Mark Newcomer has been the face, voice, and backbone of Paysign since 2006.
For nearly 20 years, Newcomer has also served as chairman and CEO of 3PEA Technologies, Inc. (a subsidiary of Paysign Inc.), the payment solutions company he co-founded in 2001. Today, Newcomer continues to expertly guide the company's growth through technology investments, acquisitions, new product lines, and strategic partnerships.
He attended Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo where he majored in Bioscience.

Matt Lanford joined Paysign in 2019. Lanford has more than 30 years of experience in the payments industry. Prior to joining Paysign, he was the SVP/GM of the financial services division of InComm. While at Incomm, Lanford led the company’s consumer-facing Vanilla suite of products which includes prepaid consumer solutions like Vanilla Gift, MyVanilla general-purpose reloadable cards, and the VanillaDirect cash-in network.
Prior to InComm, Lanford held a variety of different roles at Mastercard in both product management and strategy development. His roles with Mastercard include service with investor relations, the Global Prepaid Product & Solutions Group, and as the Prepaid Product Lead for Europe based in London.
In 2012, Lanford was named the Most Influential Figure in European Prepaid Industry in the top spot of the Prepaid Power 10 by a panel of his peers and was again recognized in 2013 as the number one in the European 2013 Payments Power 10.
Earlier in his career, Lanford worked for Citigroup in the U.S. and internationally with Euronet Worldwide, Inc., holding positions in Budapest, Hungary and the U.S.
At Paysign, Lanford is responsible for managing and expanding Paysign’s suite of prepaid products.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Prior to joining Paysign in February 2021, Mr. Baker was Executive Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at InComm Payments, a leading privately-held financial service company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. InComm offers many of the world’s largest retailers omnichannel innovative payment solutions ranging from prepaid card products to switch payment processing. While at InComm, Mr. Baker completed acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and investments in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Hong Kong, Austria, China, and Colombia.
Prior to joining InComm in December 2011, Mr. Baker was Chief Development and Strategy Officer at Global Payments Inc. (NYSE:GPN), one of the world’s leading payment processing companies. While at Global, Mr. Baker completed acquisitions and divestitures in the United States, United Kingdom, Philippines, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Spain. In addition to his former role, Mr. Baker was also responsible for the Treasury and Product departments for Global.
Prior to joining Global Payments in October 2003, Mr. Baker held various senior equity analyst positions at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, W.R. Hambrecht & Co., SunTrust Equitable Securities, and Principal Financial Securities. He covered the financial technologies and services, business-to-business (B2B), personal computer, and enterprise storage industries over a period of 10 years. Prior to becoming an equity research analyst, Mr. Baker worked at Bank One as a credit analyst.
Mr. Baker has served as Georgia Regional Director of Birmingham, Alabama-based ServisFirst Bank (NASDAQ: SFBS), as a board member of CardCash and KargoCard, as well as a board observer to Instant Financial. Mr. Baker has served as a guest on various international speaking panels including the Southern Center for International Studies, Georgia State University, and the Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Baker is a graduate of Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Before joining Paysign in 2018, Robert Strobo served as deputy general counsel and vice president for Republic Bank & Trust Company, a state-chartered financial institution based in Louisville, Kentucky.
Strobo specializes in prepaid card issuance and non-traditional banking, which includes small-dollar consumer lending, commercial lending, payments, and tax-related financial products.
He also served as chairman of the board of directors for Commonwealth Theatre Center, a non-profit youth conservatory and outreach program serving all of Kentucky and southern Indiana.
Strobo received his bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Brad Cunningham joined the Paysign executive team in July 2021. He has more than 17 years of experience with technology and software development and API integration architecture in the fintech industry.
Prior to joining Paysign, he served as senior vice president and managing director of IT strategy and services at Republic Bank & Trust Company. Cunningham specializes in assembling and directing teams that build and implement fintech solutions in complex, multi-vendor environments.
Cunningham is responsible for planning the roadmap for evolving Paysign’s architecture and technology stack to meet the company’s strategic short- and long-term goals.

Eric Trudeau joined the brand in 2018. Prior to joining Paysign, Trudeau was with Global Cash Card, Inc., Sunrise Banks, and Meta Payment Systems.
Trudeau is responsible for leading the internal processes for promoting and ensuring the company's compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Trudeau also oversees the brand’s enterprise-wide compliance risk management. He has over 20 years of experience working in the card industry, focusing on prepaid and credit products.
Trudeau has an undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and is a certified member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money-Laundering Specialists (CAMS).

Cosimo Cambi joined the Paysign team in 2021 and brings extensive experience in pharmaceutical operations. data, and analytics to his role of COO. He has spent more than 10 years working hands-on with patient affordability data and specializes in applying key insights related to industry trends, such as accumulator impacts, program performance, and patient adherence, to Paysign's day-to-day operations.
Cambi holds a Bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master’s degree in analytics from Northeastern University.

Dan Henry has served as an independent, non-executive director for Paysign since 2018. Henry currently serves on the Audit Committee and chairs the Executive Compensation Committee.
With more than two decades of experience as an entrepreneur in the payments space, Henry co-founded Euronet Worldwide (NASDAQ: EEFT), a leader in secure electronic financial transaction processing. He served as President and COO at Euronet until the end of 2006 and remained on the board until 2008. While there he was instrumental in the development of its European business. When Henry left his executive role at the company, Euronet had 1,100 employees in 23 countries and had annual revenue in excess of $600 million.
In 2008 Henry joined Netspend Corporation, a leading provider of prepaid debit cards for personal and commercial use, as Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, Netspend's cardholder accounts grew from 700,000 to more than 2.35 million. Under his leadership, Netspend's annual revenues grew from $129 million in 2007 to $351 million in 2012. In 2010, Henry led the company through its initial public offering and in July 2013 completed an all-cash sale of the company valued at $1.4 billion USD to TSYS Corporation.
Henry currently serves on the boards of Rx Savings Solutions and DAMA Financial. He received a bachelor's in Business Administration with majors in Finance, Economics and Real Estate from the University of Missouri in 1988.

Bruce A. Mina, an independent, non-executive director of Paysign since March 2018, serves as Paysign’s Audit Committee Chairman, and is a member of the company's Compensation Committee. He's a cofounder and managing member of Mina Llano Higgins Group, LLP. A licensed CPA with over 30 years of experience, Mina is experienced in litigation support and valuation assignments regarding business valuations, damage studies, and appraisal engagements.
Mina’s experiences include being retained as a business appraiser, expert witness, consultant, forensic examiner, auditor, accountant, and tax planner by a variety of business and municipal entities. He has provided services in business appraisal and enterprise valuation, forensic examination, and litigation support. As a business appraiser, Mina has valued businesses for the purpose of acquisition, sale, buy/sell agreements, estate planning, arbitration, and litigation.
Mina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The Tax Institute, the School of Professional Accountancy, the College of Management, the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University, The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, The National Association of Valuation Analysts, and The New York Association of Collaborative Professionals.
Mina earned his bachelor's from Hofstra University and master's in Taxation from Long Island University.

Jeffrey Newman was elected to the Paysign Board of Directors in 2023. He began his career practicing international commercial law in Paris, Washington, and Budapest, and subsequently spent more than 20 years as a C-Suite executive with Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT), helping build it from a start-up into an industry-leading, publicly listed, international payments business employing 8,000 people in 60 countries with a market capitalization of up to $8 billion. Newman has experience at every stage in the creation of a large public company and the establishment of complex, regulated businesses in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Newman brings in-depth experience from his time spent as board counsel and general counsel with Euronet, including corporate governance and compliance policies and best practices, M&A activities, international ventures, and directing regulatory investigations and audits, as well as litigation.
As an independent director for Paysign, Newman is the chair of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee and sits on the Audit Committee.

Joan Herman joined the brand in 2017. She was appointed to the Board of Directors just a year later. Prior to joining Paysign, Herman served as the senior vice president in the payments division of Sunrise Banks. She’s also worked with UMB Bank in Kansas City, MO, Boatmen's Bank (now Bank of America), Heartland Bank, and served as a director at Heartland Payment Systems between 1997 and 2006.
Herman began her career in payments nearly 30 years ago, holding various management positions in operations, product development, sales, and marketing on both the issuing and acquisition sides of the card business.
She is responsible for executing and implementing the daily operations of the organization.
Herman is a member of the board of directors of the Innovative Payments Association (IPA) and currently serves as treasurer. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Webster University.

Dennis Triplett has been an independent, non-executive director of Paysign since 2018. From 2004 to 2017, he served as CEO of healthcare services at UMB Bank, N.A., a leading provider of healthcare payment solutions including health savings accounts (HSAs), health flexible spending accounts (FSAs), and payments technology.
Triplett has more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry – including serving as the president and CEO of two banks in the Midwest – and has extensive credit and debit card experience. He is a graduate of several banking schools and holds a master's in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
In addition, he's shared his healthcare banking industry insights through numerous speaking engagements, blogs, and editorials. Civically, he serves on the board of the Greater Kansas City Crime Commission and chairs a not-for-profit, Community for Coaches.
