David Hooker was brought on board as Chief Technology Officer in 2020. Prior to joining Paysign, Hooker served as a senior member of the technical team at Cisco, where he contributed to global infrastructure, best practices, and guidelines. He has also held senior positions at Ganart Technologies and NantHealth, and provided technology consulting services to numerous start-ups. Mr. Hooker has been listed as an inventor on six U.S. patents for financial technologies throughout his career. In one venture, he built a complete financial transaction network – including a terminal platform, terminal network, and acquiring switch ¬– supporting numerous financial products that serve the underbanked and unbanked communities. He oversees all information technology, information security, systems, applications, and data centers at Paysign.
